WELCOME TO CAPTAIN MICHAEL’S (KG4SRW) HAM SHACK ON THE NET

• Welcome to Lighthouse Christmas lights 2008. A group of hams headed down to Oak Island lighthouse to put it on the air on December 20th, 2008. A great time was had by all that attended. This was the first operation using the portable tower trailer. The operation went flawlessly. On the tower we had the clubs Cushcraft A3S tri-band beam (10M, 15M, 20M) on the rotator and on the standoff we had a 40 meter dipole. It took use about an hour to get the whole operation up and going.
